The official name of CDGDC Verification is China Qualification Verification (QCV). This verification program has been undertaken by CDGDC) since 2000, which is approved by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council and the Ministry of Education. CDGDC is the only authoritative organization to verify all levels and all kinds of diplomas, course transcripts, student certificate as well as other background materials that belong to national education system and are conferred by universities and scientific institutions and other organizations in Chinese territory (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions). The verified education diplomas and transcripts has universally accepted by North American universities and the mainstream verification body World Education Services (i.e WES)
Since 2013, some American universities have required students from Mainland China (or non-Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan regions in China) to get their summer school academic transcripts verified by the CDGDC before the credit transfer. More than ten universities such as Purdue University, Ohio State University, Northwestern University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Iowa, University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Indiana University Bloomington, University of Wisconsin-Madison, etc. require CDGDC verification, which is clearly stated in credit transfer policy on their official websites. Even if the CDGDC verification is not involved in the credit transfer section, it is still a mandatory requirement when Chinese students apply for transferring schools or graduate degrees to North American universities. In 2013 and 2014, students may visit the official website of CDGDC to apply for academic transcript verification report. The verification publicity and report are as follows:
World Education Services (WES) is the largest credential evaluation institute in America, providing evaluations for those who intend to apply for jobs or admission to an educational institution in America or Canada. With a history of more than 40 years, WES’s evaluation reports are extensively accepted by academic institutions in these two countries. In 2009, China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) established a partnership with WES. Since then, holders of diplomas and academic records in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) shall firstly apply for evaluation reports of CDGDC before going to WES.
The summer courses of ONPS International Summer School Platform in 2014 have verified by WES (World Education Services). The Verification Reports are as follows:
